OK, This was really a stupid move. I;ve got teh shop manual but I foraged ahead without reading and removed the alternator from my Mercruiser 5.7 L with Thunderbolt Igition. Refered to the manual after I had removed the connections without labeling them. Now I have 1 red and 2 black wires and don't know where to connect to the Mando alternator i had rebuilt. Any thought on where I can get a wiring diagram.

Its a 5.7 l carburated fresh water cooled mercruiser with an Alpha one Outdrive.

Help!!!!

It is a 1998 Bayliner 2355 LE. I've had a look everwhere and can't seem to find any wiring diagrams

Since you have the manual, look in section 4C on page 24. It has the wiring diagrams.

OK, I've got a Clymer Manual B745-2, This must be different from what you have. The problem with the wiring diagram in my manual is that it just identifies the 4 wires without going to the alt., not to which lug they need to be connected.

Thanks, and yes I realize how stupid this is.
