I have a 48 horse that I haven't used enough.. Anyway I tried to raise the tilt and it would not move. The plastic clip on the end of the cable that releases the tilt was broke. I replaced it....which was a trip with it in the locked down position. After a couple of adjustments it finally released. Enough for that day. Was going to go on a shakedown run but when I tried to lower the tilt at first it would not go. After a while it slowly started to lower. I then tried to raise it again with no luck. How does the hydrolics work? Is the clip still out of adjustment??? What else should I be doing? The engine still has some issues but first things first, I'll get to that next.
