Can anyone please tell me if its possible to get a manual for this paticular engine? I have a 1992 Mariner 40 ELO ID# 6E 9-L-450354. I don't know much about outboards and have heard that some of the manuals cover more than one motor( which would probably only add to my confusion) I tried e-mailing Mercury about getting one but have not heard back from them. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Halfpint<br /><br />Best Manual to get is a Factory Manual made specifically for your engine. You can order one at the link below. I think it's also a good idea to get the parts manual, too, as it has exploded pictures of the motors components and of course, the related part numbers for everything. Makes it alot easier to order parts...<br /><br /> Manual
