What manual should I buy for my 1990 evinrude 150 xp ??<br />is there one that is better then the rest?<br />or can i purchase boat motor repairs for dummies some where?<br /><br />Thanking you in advance :confused:

The factory's "model specific shop manual" is head n shoulders, the best. But rare and pricey-er than Seloc or Clymer. Iether of these will walk you thru any process, and also have the added bennifit of including a good "General information" chapter in the front of the book.<br />That would be the "Motors for dummies section" you refered to. No need for a whole book on that,because the manuals are laid-out in such a manor,as to walk you thru troubleshooting,repair,and cautions.<br />Just be sure you have all the tools you'll need, or at least, a good source for them close to home.<br />Manuals and tools are never wasted money..They are as vital as fuel. And once you have them,you have them forever, or until you decide to have a garage sale :) <br />And stick close to this site. It can't hurt.
