Is there any stuff on the market that you can purchase to repel algae and marine crap from adhering to the bottom of your boat. Mine is in the water 6 months out of the year and i wanted to cut down on the amount of crap that sticks to it. I have heard that "pledge" works. Does anyone have any other ideas or experience with other stuff? Thanks

There are many types of bottom paint designed for this. What type of boat? What are other guys at your marina using? The local water matters for this decision . . .

The boat is a chris craft express cruiser and the bottom is sealed with white gel coat, the boat is in Atlanta GA and sits in the water from May 1 - Oct 31 , last time i pulled it out it looked nasty so i wanted to do as much as possible to prevent marine growth. I dont know what other people in my marina use, from the looks of it - not much :)
