I will apologize in advance for my ignorance.
I need a handheld marine radio.
I need a handheld cb radio.

Does a reliable one exist which supports both? I am having trouble confirming it does. Seems to be either or, but like I said I am ignorant on the details and working on educating myself. Thank you in advance fir any assistance.

In a word, NO!
Pick on or the other.

Why do you need/want a CB? Especially on a boat!
GMRS/FRS is much more common and preferred.

Never heard of one. They operate on very different frequencies so I can't see how the same antenna could work for both.

O/P... understand that this is NOT a cb but rather a "walkie talkie" ... you would need more than one to talk amongst them... you could not talk to the general public IE truckers
Yes, that's true.

But THIS ONE has Marine VHF and FRS in a "Walkie Talkie" style Case.
It also include a Weather Radio with Alert.

You can only use the Marine Band Legally while on the water and talking about Boating subjects.

You can use the FRS side of the radio to call to the campers on shore to find out if dinner is ready.
The FRS portion will talk to any other FRS radios that you might get for the family.
They are useful for keeping track of the kids or talking to other vehicles in your road convoy on the way to the ramp.
