Motor Type: Mariner 115 - inline 6 Cyliner
Year: Not sure - 198X

Details,
I popped number 5 cylinder on the boat this year. There is a hole right through the top of the piston.
I have not torn the unit apart as of this point, but I am just curious if you can bore one cylinder only. It does not look like I scored the cylinder walls too bad, and a .010" bore would clean it up.
Can I bore the one bad cylinder only (0.010" Over), and re-ring the remaing 5 cylinders?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can bore only the one cylinder. The oversized pistons are the same weight as the standard ones. Pick out a piston before you bore it. The Mercury oversized pistons and aftermarket pistons aren't available in the same sizes.
