Recently "inherited" a Mariner 15 that I am at a loss to identify. Model # 684CL 318518 is stamped on the I.D.plate, but it doesn't fall within the range of any numbers that I have found on the web. My local marine mechanic can't find it in his model/year tables either. Need the info for tune-up <br />parts and possible coil replacement. I'm thinking mid-80's, but would like to get it right. "Made in Japan" stamped on other plate. (Yamaha, right?)
