I was talking to a fellow boat owner @ my sailing club and he informed me that there is virtually little difference between a Mariner/Mercury 2.5hp and a 3.3hp 2 stroke and it is possible to increase the power on my 1998 Mariner 2.5 hp to 3.3hp with only a few modifications. Being a sceptical person I wondered if it is possible?
What parts would I need?
Any help would be appreciated.
