I think you mean it won't plane. Coming off plane is what happens when ypou slow down.
What year motor and what boat.
Sounds like a classic fuel supply problem or perhaps it is not running on all cylinders.Be sure throttle opens all the way.I wasn't aware Mariner had a fuel injected motor.?

Re: Mariner 225 Fuel Injected

The Boat Is A 1995 Nitro Bass Boat 20 Foot Long .the Title On Boat Says This Is The Motor That Came On The Boat So I Am Thinking That The Motor Is A 1995 . I Don't Know Much About Boats This Is The First One That I Have Owned . The Throttle Work Fine When The Boat Is In Netural. The Pump Ball For The Feul Stays Hard. Will Not Go Over 20rpms When The Motor Is In The Water And Under Pressure. Thank You, All Help Is Welcome

Has the boat ever run right?Reving in neutral means nothing and you also shouldn't go above 2,000 rpm in neutral. Are you sure the carbs are opening all trhe way?Does the choke/primer help when trying to accellerate?
