Mariner 25hp Short Shaft Year?

I have gone through the sticky thread on using serial #'s to figure out the year of my motor. However, I still have not found a reference to the serial # I have and what year it would be. The serial # is 6634842. Any help is appreciated as I need to buy some parts and everytime I type the serial # in on a parts website, it says "Serial # not found."

According to maxrules dot com, your motor is a 1985 Mariner 25XD and your serial number (6634842) falls in the range 6443973 - 0B238463
