Hi could anyone tell me why there are three screws on the lower unit . 1 oil level 2 oil drain and 3 wash .

What are they for

oil drain and level are self explanatory and the wash is for attaching a hose adapter and flushing motor ....

And, IMO, not worth much. Better to use muffs.
