Just bought from my brother in law. 2001 40 hp serial # 0G146579 . after running 20 - 30 minutes it tends to power down. i've check tank vent replaced fuel line, filter, bulb. it starts fine and will rev up in nuet, put in gear ,slowly go wot, it lacks power unless it gets choked. Choke control is in contol box by pushing in key. After searching other post , I think I maybe needing to rebuild the carbs. is there anything else to consider as I go?
