hi,hope some one can shed some light on my problem,
I recently purchased a non-running mariner 50 3cyl (serial no ob125059 can anyone tell me the age?) it wouldnt start,had weak spark,so replaced the stator with a new cdi unit.It now starts but not without applying throttle out of gear,when running it seems to run lumpy and smokes a lot,although will rev smoothely when running.the carbs were cleaned prior to getting it running,could it be simple adjustment? also small fuel leak on bottom carb coming from the bottom of the carb.
also has new plugs and running 50:1 fuel mixture,tank vent open,prime bulb hard.
Any help would be much appreciated
