mariner 50hp wont idle

I have a mariner 50 4 cylinder that will not idle. When I push in the button it will accelerate on the control and it runs evenly and well. When I put back into the start position to move off it stalls. How do I increase the tickover speeds ?<br />Thanks

This could be a problem of the carbs being out of adjustment and need cleaning or rebuilding. Or something simple as it is idling to slow.<br /><br />Idle adjustment is on the port side of the engine. The words should be cast into the exhaust cover.<br /><br />TMD
