Can someone tell me what year this ser. no. is (675L31700) from a mariner 60hp. Also what years lower units will fit the same engine and does mercury 60 match up.<br />Thanks

It's a 60 EL 675-30501 - 675-31775 1976 Model. Don't know what other lower units will fit, but others will know. Give them time. It's slow on the weekends. Might re-post a new topic asking which lower unit will fit your motor. You will probably get betters responses that way..

The only gearcases that will fit that will come from the 60Hp & 650 triples, and 70Hp three cylinder models of the same era. Four-cylinder gearcases won't fit. I'm not sure if there are any differing gear ratios, but that can be compensated with prop pitch.
