mariner outboard what kind?

i have a mariner outboard that has 150 magnum 2 on it. when i type in the serial # in at mercury web site it tells me that it is a 2.4L magnum 2. Is a 150 a 2.4L? Any response is appriceated.<br />ser.# 0D007551

There are models of different horsepower from a given block displacement. There are definately 2.4L 150s.
