I assume it's a Yamaha make. The model number would be like 642-12345. So Yamaha might be another source for parts.

Yes. It's made by Yamaha. The 642 is the giveaway.

There actually is no such thing as a Mariner. They were always something else with Mariner stickers and paint. Yamaha made the singles and twins in the 70s and 80s, Mercury made the bigger ones. Some later small ones were Tohatsus.
