Mariner tilt trim

I have a 1989 60 hp Mariner without tilt/trim. I have a chance to buy a unit off a 1993 40 hp Mariner. Can anyone tell me if it will fit. Thanks

probably not, and its smaller hp, might not be strong enough any way.
