Hi all. I have an '80 80hp Mariner which I just replaced impeller/water pump. Ran it w/ earmuffs and still have same as I did before I changed pump; At FAST idle it pees like a race horse and at idle it drips like a leakey faucet. Does this motor have a thermostat that could be stuck. I'd rather change it than change a top piston.
