mariner wiring

I have a 1979 JAPANESE MARINER motor runs but need help with harness from motor.All wires color coded ,I am adapting different control box need to know ID on wires.Iknow blue is electric choke,Ithink red to solinoid,dont know orange ,tan,black should be ground.If anyone knows the rest i would appreciate the help,motor is electric or pullstart,motor is 1979 40hp 676b404226.Thanks

Hardluck, The wire colors on my '77 inline six were: Grey was choke solenoid, Orange was power pack killer (connected to black when ign switch was off), yellow was starter solenoid, brown was tach signal, yellow/red was stator to rectifier, red was +12V, white was +12V for accessories and power for ignition and choke solenoid if needed.
