Well I never!.. This is a MAR60E about 17years old, is this engine possibly a Suzuki in disguise. Any ideas....<br /><br />Cheers Folks....Keith B..... :p

More likely a Yamaha. Mariners below 60 Hp were Yamahas back in the 1980s.

Basically the same engine as the Yamaha 55hp, a 760cc twin. Also made in 48hp. To further confuse the matters, Mariner also had a 50hp , which was the merc inline-4
