MarineTex or Gelcoat for this?

Whats your take on this? Ive never messed around with gelcoat before...

What type of Cosmetic Results are you looking for? If you want it to be almost un-noticeable you should prolly try to Mess with Gel Coat. If you just want it to blend in a bit you could use Marine Tex, or mix up your own Thickened Poly and some CSM to patch over it and then blend some paint. Lot's of ways to fix it, It all depends on how picky you are with the final outcome.

Ill go with the MarineTex first.... if it doesn't look the way i want Ill just grind it back down with my dremel and try gelcoat then.

Grind it a bit with the dremel and wipe it out good with Acetone before applying the Marine Tex.

So you ( or somebody ) popped a few screw holes in the side of your boat.

Get the screws out of there first :) .. then you can repair with gelcoat/paste. Spray over them is recommended but not needed.
