mark 6 pee hole

Hi! All,
Bought a 57 Mercury mark6 that had been sitting for a while. It fired up but I didn't see any water squrting out for cooling. Can anyone tell me where it should be coming out?? Also if you think it might need a impeller is this hard to install? Thankyou very much. John EDIT

I believe there's a pisser tube that feeds from the block, in the rear. Lacking that, there would be a mist coming out of the holes in the rear of the mid-leg.

As for replacing the impeller - it is located at the top of the gearfoot and requires undoing the shift cable up by the powerhead and snaking the cable out. Do not fray or kink the cable as that makes it difficult to feed back up. Not a difficult job, but a manual is helpful - get the OEM 1965 & Prior manual (I have seen them on eBay, as well as some online sources).
