When I read the story I noticed it said all the civic formalities must be done PRIOR to the death. This makes me think the marriage is a formality to secure assets, pension, possible a name for a child they had together, stuff she would have if he weren’t killed.<br /><br />When I consider the alternative, in Calif the state gets any un-willed assets, marriage post mortum seems like a good idea.<br /><br />

San Francisco is a beautiful city. It just happens to be temporarily occupied by a bunch of people that are unable to accepted the 2000 presidential election or the recall of gov’r Davis.

LMAO :D Although, a hole is a hole. If I'm making the hole, I want it to be a big one, If I'm recieving it, I'm hoping they are shooting a pea shooter. One of those .17 caliber pop guns will be just fine, thank you. :D
