Max IV Skid Steer Amphib 6-Wheeler

I bought one of these a couple of years ago for $400. The motor is out of it, because the former owner had put a couple of holes in the hull, behind the engine. I really don't know what year it is and am pretty sure that it needs a lot of work to the driveline, but the motor does run - it is a Kohler Command 25.

I found a guy on the internet who rebuilds these amphibs and was pleased to find out that mine is worth about $3,500, even in its current condition. He feels that the motor alone is worth $800 - $1,100. Completely refurbished, they are apparently worth as much as $7,500. The only problem is that I have no maintenance manual for the unit.

I'm going to start surfing EBay for the service manual and/or parts explosion, but am curious - does anyone here know anything about these amphibs?

They are still being sold..... so the manuals might be available. I am more familiar with the ARGO but, I googled yours and found info on dealers.

Fun and docile to playwith ..... not the fastest and actually pretty wide for the trails around here.
