Just picked up an older pontoon boat (20') with a 2001 75hp 3 cyl 2 stroke. Got it out on the lake Friday and she'll run 21-22mph (GPS) at 5200 rpm's. I thought the RPM's sounded a little low so checked the web. The only spec's I could find said the rpm range for my motor at WOT was "min. 4750 to max 5250". If thats correct I'm right at the top of the RPM range. That would be ok with me. My wife is happier at about 3500-4000. About 14-15mph so thats where we'll be most of the time. I would like to have the proper prop on the motor. If anyone has or can tell me where to find the factory specs for this motor I'd appreciate it.

Mike, it sounds like the engine is propped correctly. You can enjoy it for a long time at a mid range speed. 5200 is perfect for WOT and you are correct, nothing wrong with running that way. Wife Ordered Throttle tends to get better gas mileage and more boat rides.;)
