Max warpage?

I am having a machine shop clean and check for warpage on the head for my Volvo Penta 3.0GSM-A. What is the max warpage allowed? I found this in a thread that's been helping ALOT>

"the mercruiser manual calls for .008 thousandths warpage over 6" as a max warpage acceptable."

I know I don't have the same motor; similar but not the same. Are tolerance's the same, or similar?

That is not the proper spec. Here's the Volvo manual link, download the manual and look in the engine specs. Page 90 of the manual.
