maximum size outboard

OOPS! I forgot to ask if anyone had the info on the maximum size motor that can go on the 1953 Lone Star V-hull. The boat is about 14 feet long. The rating tag from the boat has long since disappeared.<br />Thanks.................Johnny

i have the same boat, but mine is 1961 and i use a 14hp 2 stroke and it works just fine.<br /><br />the new ones of that same style and size state a 15hp max rating wich is just right
