Considering a May Craft 23ft CC. Any experiance owners have knowledge of manafacturer? Boat is made in North Carolina.

Thanks for your reply and I have seen the boat in person and like it. However, seeing isn't everything these days. perhaps someone with hands on experiance can share their thoughts. Their web page does not explain any details about performance of the rig. The dealer that has the 2002 Demo 23ft CC with a yr 2002 225hp Optimax says that the warranty is for another 2 1/2 years. If I wanted to put a new 225hp Optimax it would cost me another $4,000. I am becoming less and less interested everytime I call them. The price for the boat is $27,000 without a trailer and if I re-rig with the newer engine how about$31,000. S--t I can get a 2003 Boat and Motor with an extended warranty that would meet my needs.

Sounds like if that dealer wants to sell it bad enough he would throw in a trailer at $27,000.I personally wouldn't be too gunshy on a 2002 motor with 2 1/2 years warranty left.At least it's broke in,however I agree $30,000 is a lot of Franklins.
