I have a a 73 Sea Ray, Mc1 or pre alpha from what I understand. I need to replace the bellows. There is no trim sensors or king pin. Looks like a couple of nails holding a threaded rod where the king pins would be. Has any one seen instructions on how to change the bellows on this dinosaur.

Ayuh,...... Welcome Aboard,....... You drive out the aluminum nails, then screw a 1/4"-20 slide-hammer adapter into the hinge pins, 'n pull 'em that way,.....

those would be found in mercrusier service manual #1. part number C-90-68648 volume II. there's 2 volumes for this manual (engine and drive). i believe vol. II has the info ya need. i got my manual #1 off ebay. ya may also be able to find this manual @ boat info .com. be careful with them nails. they are nla. also before driving them out. ya gotta unbend the pointy end of the nail. that is what retains the nail. also, confirm proper service manual by serial number of what you got. if i remember right, 74 change to service manual #2. i used #1 for my 72 mc-1, #2 for my 75 mc-1
