My brother needs info on winterizing the Mercruiser 4 cyl.
It's the one with the heat exchanger.
The one Mercruiser built with a Ford 460 head.
I usually do his winterizing but now I live in Fl.
He's in Mi.
He might post something later too.
Any links or videos or online manuals will help.

Yeah that was was a pretty good discussion;). Read the pages that Eric posted on that thread. Did mine this afternoon. Put the boat on the trailer, pulled the transom drain plug then pulled the AFT plug on the heat exchanger and it was freeze protected before we left the launch parking lot. As for the rest, some folks like to fog the engine, I never have. Will change the oil, and remove the outdrive and change the impeller (end of second season on this one). Put a little Sta-bil in the tank, and made sure the battery maintainers were hooked up and working and that is about it till spring.

Yep, one of the easiest I/Os to 'winterise'... Haven't done mine yet...:D :D ;)
