Merc 1150 got Laser boat! motor bogs and stops

Well, I took my Laser out and the Merc 115 ran 30 min GREAT...then, going back to shore, we lost the power. We could squeeze the bulb, choke and get going again for about 30 sec and it would cut out and quit!

Someone sugessted replace fuel line if dry rot. I think carbs are clean...
any ideas what would cause this ...the boat has been used quite a bit recently so it has not sat up...
