My Merc 120 ill not turn over. Its as if its seized. Can a frozen universal joint do this. It has a new starter and I have tried to turn the flywheel with a bar, but it will not move.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

Remove your plugs and see it it will turn over. If so, you probably have water in the oil if a bunch of gunk comes out the plug holes. Water in the pistons will hydro lock an engine.
Hey, you should check what gdombroski said and if the plugs are dry and there is no water then what I have heard is to remove the drive and see if the engine will turn over. It might be the problem.
