Merc 135 1993

Having replaced one of the Voltage regulators after it was found to have been outputting 16.5V + I discover that the normal voltage output is now about 14.7 Volts. Whilst this is within the alarm limit of the Furuno E/S is this reading what would be considered normal. I have checked it with an AVO apart from the readout on the various nav aids. Many Thanks. Thanks a lot JB. It has caused me big worries as it has taken ages for the new reg to arrive and I have been worried about doing electrical damage running the motor in the over volt condition. Will rest easy and get on with the serious matter of fishing, when of course our summer decides to start.<br /><br />Thanks a lot<br /><br />Andy
