Ok, I have read all the posts pertaining to starting problems on this unit, still having no luck. <br />A little history first.<br /><br />Boat went in water and both engines started without problem, boat had been winterized and readied for water properly. <br /><br />Found the starboard engine would not rev past 3,000 rpms but ran fine below that mark.<br /><br />Brought in to get service. and this is the start.<br /><br />NO Spark - turns over without problem but no spark<br /><br />Done so far:<br /><br />New points and coil<br />Timing<br />New iginition<br />Have done the insulated screwdriver trick to check for spark and getting spark.<br /><br />WHAT NEXT! <br />PS - anyone in the GTA area in Toronto interested in a paid marina visit to help diagnose and repair (with compensation of course) let me know<br /><br />mark@tech-know.com<br /><br />Edit note: Mark. you can edit your post by clicking on the EDIT icon.
