I just bought a 1996 angler 204 that has a mercury 175 offshore on it. The outboard has a sticker on it with the serial # but it is unreadable and fell in my hand when I touched it. I dont know if these anglers came stock with merc offshore which would make it a 96.. my guess is 96-98.. I am going to need a powerhead or rebuild because the previous owner disconnected oil and did not premix. Are there any numbers on the block or anywhere else to tell the year? If anyone has something that will work for me I am looking.. Thanks in advance...
