I have a 97 Merc 175 EFI outboard on my bass boat. I have a friend who has a new computor for a same year 200EFI that he says will go on my motor. I was told that the only difference between a 175 and 200 is the computor, that the Horse power is computor controlled, and that the power head is identicle. Is this true? if I put the 200 computor on my 175 will it work or is there something else that I have to do to make it work? I was also told that they are jetted different but that the computor would adjust all that. Please help me it is hard to get all the info from a boat mechanic because they dont want to be held responsible for telling me if it will work or not. I realize that the final choce is mine and hold knowone responsible.<br />Thanks In Advance For Your Help! Vince
