Merc 20 HP idles rough

rebuilt carb thru other threads thank you all, but i cant seem to smooth it out running at idle.

any ideas ???

Did you use a rebuild kit or just clean them? Measure the float adjustment? More details....

I just rebuilt mine and used the old float levers from the previous floats... Since they were adjusted for a different type of float, I was starving the motor.... Bent and measured the new ones and worked like a champ.

Thanks for the repy,
I did buy a full rebuild kit and new float. It looked like a kit for multible carbs.

I think i used everything but the little brass plugs and set float close as i could converting decmals to fractions.( Aprox 5/16")

How sensitive should the fuel / air mix screw be ? It was set @ 1/2 turn out
before rebuild, is there a normal starting point?
