I have a 97 merc 225 with the hose attachment on the back of the motor(see pic).Can I run this out of the water without muffs when I have water to this? I'm in the process of repowering and found this motor with low hours . Thanks,Jerry
That is for flushing the motor with out the motor running.It's not recommended running the motor with it hooked up like that due to no or little water going to the water pump.
