I have removed 4 bolts and the lower unit separates about 3-4- inches but the shift rod seems to be holding it. How do I release it? Looked under the carb and see a lever that holds it (seems to be anyway) but when I release the lever it still will not release the rod. Any help here would be appreciated. thanks, marshbass
