Merc 3.0L and Chevy 350 bolt patterns the same?

A friend of mine has brought this to my attention. I have no plans to do the swap, but is it true? It has an alpha one drive.

Ayuh,...

If you are asking about the Block's bellhousing bolt pattern,..??

ALL Chevys are the Same,... 4cyl.s, 6cyl.s, SBCs,+ BBCs....

It's got Nothing to do with Mercruiser....

Just because a 350 will bolt up to your 3.0 bell housing doesn't mean it's a straight swap.
