merc 3.0l carb problem ,no gas

I had the carb off during engine rebuild. Reinstalled everything and when i give it gas the carb is dry not getting any gas. I pulled off line from fuel pump and it is pumping gas to it. What could be keeping it from spraying is it all mechanical or is there something electrical maybe i wired wrong.

How long was the carb off? Could be a stuck needle valve or a defective accelerator pump.

i had it off about two weeks, i am getting some gas on one side when you look in the carb , when i open it full throttle it drips on one side only, its a two barrel, i tapped and hit on the bowl to see if float was lodged any other suggestions.................?
