merc 35 hp model 350 1967, No spark why??

Hey like the title says i have an old mercury 35 hp 1967 that just wont spark there is no starter motor on it just a hand tiller i have been at a marina and bought new spark plugs but still no spark, please can someone help me? i think my arm will fall off soon for all my tries he he //Thomas

think old school car tech here. you have points, condensors, coils... and (this part more like a lawn mower) magneto. also wires to spark plugs. start at the easy to access parts and go from there.

Hello...
okej now i have take away the hand tiller and i see the breaker points, condensors and so on how do i see whats is wrong? there is a gap at the points for like 0.25mm.. //thomas
