Merc 40 ELPTO Motor Not Starting

Motor runs like a top. Started right up, drove across lake for 20 minutes, docked then started right back, turned off and then used trolling motor and fished for two hours. Went to start up and now will not start. Battery is fine. When I trimmed up motor fuel discharged from motor. When I trim down and back up fuel continues to leak fuel - even with fuel disconnected. Can anybody offer any help? I'm no where near launch and I just started five day fishing trip. Thank you.

Is it possible to over prime bulb and possibly damage something from too much pressure?

Where is the fuel leaking from, and what year is the motor?

The motor is a 2002. I don't know where it is leaking from. All I know right now is that when I raise the motor it seems as if fuel runs out into water and then a little cloud of what appears to be oil. If I lower it and raise again the same thing happens.

Maybe float in your carb is stuck. I had a Merc 15 4S that was gushing fuel out the top of the carb when squeezed the bulb. Didn't always do this. So I'm guessing carb needed cleaning. Maybe yours too.
