My 83' 2-cylinder merc 40hp recently began to have trouble starting especially in colder temps. Also, once the motor is running, I cannot put the motor in gear for a couple of minutes or the engine will stall. Electrical systems check out, and motor runs good once it warms up. Only problem is, sometimes it takes 15 minutes or more to warm up. Does this sound like a carb or fuel pump problem?
