Greetings. Have been having probs with fuel delivery or so I've thought. Ran good one day next day boggs at WOT. Heres what I've done to date.
1. disassembled carbs including jets, refurbished with seal kit and float valve. cleaned all orfices with wire, blew out. reset idle to 1-1/2 turns out
2. replaced all fuel lines and filters and bulb
3. cleaned fuel tanks
4. replaced partially corroded wires from stator
5. replaced plugs
6. Good spark on all 4 cyldrs
Still acts like it's starving for fuel and coughs at idle. Also dies when throttled back quickly.
When I pulled plugs after running in this condition for a couple of hours looked like top and bottom plugs may not have been fireing as they were black, unlike others. Checked spark from plug against head looks good. How to you check spark and ignition performance under load. Could I have a problem with coils or stator plate. Would appreciate your thoughts.

Regards, bogged and bummed on vacation
