Merc 470 (water leak)

My 1982 Imperial Citation vc200 started leaking small amount of water.The hull looks ok.Could the water seep in from the engine/lower unit.This water gets in even when the engine is off.What may need to be checked?

u-joint bellows, shift cable bellows.

Thanks for the suggestion.I cannot see a obvious split like I did with the exhaust bellows a year ago.But after 18 years I suppose the other rubber has to be worn out also.I guess I'll remove the lower unit and give it a good check.Again thanks..EDt
