merc 4HP lower case lubricants

i have a smaller motor on my boat, a merc 4HP. I have no idea what lubricants to use in it for the lower gear case. Please help me out.

SAE 90 is used in most of the older units that are manuel shift.<br />Type c is used in the electric shift style motors <br /> Oh by the way welcome aboard you can do a search at the top of this page and find a world of info.
