Merc 650 1971? 65 hp

I have a 1971, or so I am told, SN# 1967543<br />I need to find some parts, cap and points, ect<br />My questions: is this a 71 engine?<br />Any good sites to find parts?<br />It runs rough and we are going to take it apart to go through it.
